1. Be willing to do whatever God tells you.

2.  Walk in obedience.

3. Wait upon the Lord but be doing what you already know you should be doing.

4.  Draw close to God: we are as close to God as we want to be.

5.  God's ways are always right - trust Him.





Countryside Food Pantry


The Countryside Food Pantry is our special project for the month of February.  We are requesting peanut butter, jelly, canned salmon, chicken and tuna, soups. cereal, oatmeal, canned fruit, crackers, toiletries and paper products and other items you would like to donate.  We would like to emphasize the need for canned meats and peanut butter.  Be aware of the expiration dates.  Thank you for your donations.  The Missions Committee



Church Dinner


A Soup Cook-Off will be held on Sunday February 17th after church.  There is a sign-up sheet in the foyer for those who would like to bring soup to share and be judged.  Bring the soup to the church on Sunday morning in a crock pot hot and ready to go.  Please have your name on it.  Right before we eat we will have the judges choose the top three soups.  



Women's Bible Study


All Women are invited to the Women's Bible Study on Wednesday February 20th at 9:30 PM in the Parlor.  Women of Faith Study "Pursuing Contentment" sign-up on the table in the foyer.



Right Now Media


Do you want to have access to some of the best Christian teachers and video resources available for your ministries and small groups as well as for your personal home use?  Coming soon we will have a streaming service called Right Now Media available for classrooms in the church for computers with web access for smart phones and tablets, and with some help, your home TV.  check it out.  ( If you are interested, please supply your email address in the bulletin tear off.



Usher Sign Up


The Worship Committee would like to invite you to volunteer to be an usher -  male or female, 12 years old and up.  Sign up on the table in the foyer.  Contact is Robert Calhoun or Gordon Warnken.

Getting to Know You Breakfast


The Getting to Know You Breakfast is Tuesday, February 12th at the Airport Steakhouse at 8:00 AM.  Our guest is Skip Wilson, Chief Professional Officer of the Boy's & Girl's Club.  Everyone is invited.



Salt Hawk Community Support


You are invited to reach out to the students at USD 308 through Communities That Care.  A list of needs is on the table in the foyer and for your donations.  You are encouraged to sign up for training to work with the students. The sticky notes are for writing words of encouragement to the students.  Pick up some today!!  This project will be ongoing through 2019.  Contact is Julie Magyar
