How many people attend Countryside?

Between the main worship service, Kidz Kountry and the two nurseries, we have been running a little under 200 people. Most who visit say they enjoy the mixture of all ages.

What type of music do you sing?

We sing contemporary praise music as well as the traditional hymns. Most say we lean more toward the contemporary than traditional. We use a praise band.

What type of clothes should I wear to church?

You will find a wide assortment of church attendees dressing casually as well as more formally. I don't think you will feel judged by whatever you wear.

How do I get to Countryside?

There is a map on the website! Our address is 819 W. 30th, west of Main Street, we are between Monroe and Hendricks. If you would like more specific directions, email: officecbc@sbcglobal.net or call Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 12:00PM.

Do you have something for children during church?

Yes, we have two, well-staffed nurseries. We also run an exciting program for K-5th grade called "Kidz Kountry." Kidz Kountry is a high energy, interactive ministry geared specifically to help children understand and relate to the good news of Christ. One of our many friendly greeters will help you find the right spot for your child or children. Its OK to look a little lost and in need of help, we have all been there and we want to help.

What happens before, during and after church?

Glad you asked! Come a few minutes early and have a free donut and coffee. During the service you will find quality music that will help you understand and experience God. You will often find a video that drives home the morning message or a brief account from a Church member about what Christ means to them. You will also find a Bible message that is engaging and relevant. After church, feel free to stay for a few minutes and allow a few people to say hi or make a quick exit. You decide. Whatever you choose, at Countryside you will discover that you matter!

What about parking?

You will find plenty of great parking spaces on the grounds of Countryside Baptist. Our main parking lot is south of the church building. You will also find parking spaces just off of 30th Ave. If those spaces are full, just keep heading south. You will find a parking space without having to walk too far. Many of our seniors and mothers with strollers love that the main floor of the church can be reached without having to walk up or down stairs.
